I noticed this a couple weeks ago with Hyundai followed by BMW and now Kia. Not long ago, when you went on their sites, the sedans were the first cars shown in the lineups. Now, the utility lineup leads the way and may even be the first car shown on the sites . I’m w ondering how long until brands like Toyota, Nissan, Mercedes, and especially Subaru and Ford make the flip.

I was at conference in Europe recently, seems like crossovers are taking over there as well.
I suspect all websites across the globe will go this route eventually.

I always wondered about the BMW site. The sedans had separate links while all X models were acc essed by a single link.

I didn’t even know a new Santa Fe was out; why are they cutting the third row out, though? Three row vehicles with good third row space such as the Pilot and the Atlas have been successes, so why abandon that track?

Hy undai has a large 8-passenger coming out next year (Hyundai Palisade). Kia has the Telluride coming out which is slightly smaller than the Palisade but bigger than the Sorento and new Santa Fe.
B asically the Sorento and new Santa Fe go against Outback, Edge, and Murano while offering a small third row.
The Telluride is in line with the Ascent, Highlander.
The Palisade will be against the Traverse specifically as that class is going bigger .
This will kinda help explain how muchbof a size gap is in some of these “ competitors.” Example: The c urrent Rogue and RAV4 are the same size as the outgoing Santa Fe Sport.

I know they’re trying to vary sizes, but I think Hyundai should stay in the 190-inch ballpark and not go up to 200+. My mom had an MPV and what made that great was that it could fit in the garage and it was easy to drive. Once the vehicle is above 190 inches in length, it’s just difficult.
